In accordance with its objective of fostering ceramic education, the Australian Ceramic Society (ACS) is pleased to formally announce its intention to provide bursaries to enable ten student ACS members to participate in the CAMS 2018 conference in Wollongong, 27-29 November 2018, https://www.cams2018.com.au/.

Applications for amounts of $500 for NSW residents and $800 for interstate residents should be submitted to the ACS Federal Secretary, Martin Stuart, by 26th October 2018: secretary@austceram.com.

Applicants should briefly detail reasons why they should be granted a bursary, where some focus on ceramics would be advisable. A note of support from academic staff (or a nomination of a suitable reference) would be sensible. Applicants will be notified of the outcome by 2nd November 2018.
